# 3 Corvette takes 3rd, # 4 is 8th in GTLM in 67th running of the 12 Hours of Sebring
For the first time in the long history of the Sebring circuit, two major endurance races were packed into the same weekend. (WEC 1,000 miles Rreport can be accessed from calendar of events March 2019)
Both Corvettes qualified near the front on row 2 with # 3 Garcia 3rd and # 4 Milner 4th. Nobody is better at dialing in set-ups for Sebring than the Corvette Racing Team with smarts acquired over years re the ever-changing bumpy car-killer circuit.
Starting under steady rain, the # 3 Corvette held its own for most of the race that began under caution. Except for a late stop for fuel that shuffled the order, they could have won as rain returned near the end.
The # 911 Porsche of Nick Tandy inherited the lead followed by the # 66 Ford GT of Joey Hand after Ryan Briscoe spun the # 67 Ford GT in the wet.
The # 4 Corvette fell back early on during time lost reportedly to replace the alternator that conked out, maybe from water that got inside.
Finished 8 laps behind GTLM leaders.
