# 23 Amy Ruman, 4th at VIR has the best shot to finish in the top 5 with two races remaining.

# 59 Simon Gregg, 7th at VIR is the only other Corvette that’s been competitive all year as the Corvettes diminish in the TA class.  While all the TA cars sit on a fairly common tube-frame chassis, the current trend is towards marques from the original 1966-71 Trans Am vs Corvettes that raced later on.  The aerodynamics are reportedly also better.

# 44 Natalie Decker, a young stock car talent, is improving since her debut in a Tony Ave Corvette at Road America.

# 11 Randy Kinsland, a local, finished 2nd in TA3 to full-time racer # 46 Fall Line Porsche of Mark Bowden is on his way to win the class.

# 53 Larry Hoopaugh, another local was 12th in a beautiful C6 supplied by Tony Ave Racing.

For the second race in a row, the Trans Am ran in conjunction with SVRA, this time featuring a novel NASCAR driver Pro-Am race won by (tbd)
