# 3 Corvette finishes 3rd, # 4 Corvette is 5th celebrating Fourth of July at the 6 hours of Watkins Glen
Overcoming an earlier spin, the # 3 Corvette scored a podium at the Glen 6 hour race even though the Corvettes were not as fast as the winning # 25 BMW and the # 66 & # 67 Ford GTs.
Credit the result once again to great race and engineering strategy and fast pit stop work.
Antonio Garcia was actually in a position to win with 35 min to go had the caution flag not come out.
The # 3 drivers extended their IMSA GTLM points lead with five more races to go after Mosport next week.
The # 4 Corvette of Oliver Gavin &Tommy Milner led at the halfway point.
Pairs from Cheve, Ford, Porsche & BMW started in GTLM. The # 62 Ferrari team was DNS.
Thanks to Matthew Boyce, Mark Windecker & others for the great photos.
