# 58 Richard Forsythe wins Trans Am on final lap at PGH International Raceway

Richard Forsyth from Cresson TX in his # 58 C6 Z06 attacked and overtook Lee Saunders from Lakeland FL in his # 84 Dodge Viper on the final lap to win the SGT class on the scenic 2.78-mile track in Wampum PA 40 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Richard remarked that his Corvette was easier on its tires as Saunders pole-sitting Viper lost traction near the end of their 34-lap race.

Forsythe clinched his second SGT-class win and leads in the series next headed to Mid-Ohio on June 21.

# 02 Kaylee Bryson was about 2 seconds off pace finishing 4th in SGT.

# 23 Amy Ruman missed practice and qualifying due to a family commitment but finished 4th and ranks 4th overall in the standings, backed by the McNichols company and new associate sponsor Valley Automotive Group.

Ex-NASCAR driver Paul Menard led from flag-to-flag in his # 3 Mustang over Chris Dyson in his # 16 Mustang, a shot of Gym Weed was not enough!

# 73 Colby Hillman hauled his 1969 Corvette from Columbus Ohio to join an informal gathering of about 30 SVRA vintage race cars.
