Callaway and RWT Corvettes score at Autodromo MOST in the Czech Republic
On Sunday the # 77 C7 GT3R piloted by Markus Pommer and Marvin Kirchhöfer scored their second victory in the first 4 races of the season, getting the right setup from way back in 19th on Saturday.
The # 13 C7 GT3R piloted by David Jahn and Sven Barth for Gerd Beisel’s ITK Engineering RWT team, scored 4th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday. This team is performing way better than expected so far.
Starting second, Kirchhöfer got past pole-sitter # 82 Orange 1 GRT Lambo Franck Perera entering Turn 1.
Kirchhöfer led until the race was red-flagged to extract rookie Thomas Preining's # 1 Precote Herberth Motorsport) Porsche from the crash barrier in a tussle for fourth place with David Jahn in the # 13 RWT Corvette.
Marcus Pommer took over at the mandatory pit stop and never looked back for a three-second lead at the finish.
