# 23 Amy Ruman celebrates 100 Trans Am starts with a 4th place finish at CoTA
Since 2011 no Corvette driver has chalked up more consistent success in Trans Am racing than Amy Ruman.
Support by Ruman Racing, a family affair, and its crew helped her win 16 races and back-to-back championships in 2015 & 2016. (Chronicled in our race reports over the years).
# 59 Simon Gregg, another past champion, also made a mark in Corvettes built and prepared by the team of Jim Derhaag and its successor.
Ruman and Gregg go into the Daytona finale 5th and 6th in the season points standings.
They trail # 98 Ernie Francis Jr who bounced back to win at CoTA; and Lawrence Loshak, Chris Dyson and David Pintaric on the bubble vs Ruman.
# 30 Richard Grant finished 11th.
# 02 Larry Bailey and # 04 Jesse Dunham sponsored by Sam Pierce Chevrolet in Danville Indiana finished down the order in TA3.
# 33 Joe Molholland from FL was a DNS in a TA3 Corvette furnished by Phoenix Performance that Andrew Aquilante has driven with great success.
