# 4, 50 Paul Fix closes in on leader # 23 Amy Ruman with win at VIR

# 50 Paul Fix started from the pole at VIR setting a new track record on the way to his 3rd win of the season.   

Tony Ave Racing supplied a great car to replace the one that was ripped apart in a collision at Mid-Ohio.

# 23 Amy Ruman was a DNF, classified 22nd due to mechanical failure (exact cause to be clarified) at lap 17 of the 31 lap race.  She started 9th and had worked her way up to 2nd.  The Championship Chase heats up with Fix within its grasp and 4 races to go.

# 41 rookie Vincent Allegretta secured a career best second-place finish and # 03 Jim McAleese who finished third. 

# 82 Jos Freda finished 5th.  # 30 Richard Grant was 9th

# 11 Randy Kinsland scored second place in the TA3 class (car eligible for SCCA Club Racing GT2) despite complaints heard from other TA3 Corvette competitors they have been unfairly handicapped by the rules.
