Corvettes at Amelia Island Concours and Fernandina Beach Vintage Races
Impresario Bill Warner invited collectors of wide-body Corvettes built by John Greenwood in 1974, ‘75 & ’76 to display them at the prestigious Amelia Island Concours.
The award was accepted by Mark Leonard of Grand Prix Classics.
The Goldin Brothers won Best in Class for Greenwood Corvettes - # 76 1976 Spirit of Sebring.
Chuck Longley's ex Gene Cormany & Grady Davis 1960 SCCA BP fuelie found & restored.
A few days later the SVRA led by Tony Parella staged vintage races inspired by early circuits lined by hay bales laid out on airports like nearby Fernandina Beach. Some of the entrants drove their cars downtown on a 5 mile tour that kicked off the weekend.
