Callaway Corvettes in a WET ONE at Spa

Under the watchful eyes of FIA president Jean Todt at Sunday’s race, # 66 Daniel Keilwitz & Andreas Wirth driving a Callaway Corvette ZO6.R GT3 finished 2nd notching the team’s best result this year.  The winners were Sebastian Asch and Luca Ludwig driving # 21, a Team Zakspeed Mercedes-Benz SLS.  The 25 lap race was curtailed by rain after 18 tours of the circuit.

Swiss driver Remo Lips in the # 13 RWT Customer Team Corvette ZO6.R GT3 edged an Audi  R8 and a BMWZ4 GT3 to pick up his second winner’s trophy following a Gentleman’s class win in Austria.  It was Lips first ever race at Spa.  Sven Barth brought the car home after the driver change.
