DP Spirit of Daytona Racing wins; GTLM Corvette Racing had a bad day

SDR dialed in a Sunday morning set-up, made the most of pit stops and traffic to win a close race over pole sitter Wayne Taylor Racing.  

The Daytona Prototype class heads off to Belle Isle on Saturday May 30, the day before the Indy Car race on Sunday.

BMWs ruled GTLM for the second straight race.  Gavin/Milner qualified fifth , made a bad start, could not catch a break and finished 6th in class.  

But wait, there's more.....

Magnussen/Garcia started at the back because of engine change and finished 7th in class. 

GTLM teams are backed by GM, Porsche, Ferrari and BMW.  The title is up for grabs heading into 24 hours of Le Mans June 13/14.
