Unique Characteristics: Modifications: Notes/Race History: At Bonneville, Corvettes fit into one of two groups…GT or Modified Sport. The GT class is the most restrictive. Rules require that cars begin as a standard production vehicle and bodywork and frames bust be mostly stock. Engine modifications are virtually unlimited… with a number of different classes being used to distinguish between the sizes of engine. The engine classes are further elaborated by normal aspiration versus forced induction. The Super Modified group is comprised of silhouette racers, constructed with purpose built frames. Once again, the category is sub-divided into classes by engine size and induction type. There are also classes for cars running pump gas or “fuel”…usually nitro-methane. This car is based on a C5 Corvette and runs in the C/unblown gas Mosified Sport class. @009 time trial results unknown at this time.
