Rules require that cars begin as a standard production vehicle and bodywork and frames bust be mostly stock. Engine modifications are virtually unlimited… with a number of different classes being used to distinguish between the sizes of engine. The egnie classes are further elaborated by normal aspiration versus forced induction. The Super Modified group is comprised of silhouette racers, constructed with purpose built frames. Once again, the category is sub-divided into classes by engine size and induction type. There are also classes for cars running pump gas or “fuel”…usually nitro-methane. This car is based on a C5 Corvette and runs in the A/Blown GT class. David Pilgrim captured the current record in this class at 236.660 MPH Registry ID Number: 879 View Original Size ![]() Harold Pace |
