Brakes were factory "Single Pin" discs with Raybestos pads; the rotors were cross-drilled by Comsat Eng. Driveline: 4 speed Top: Interior: Black Condition: Last heard it was stored in a barn in Martinsberg (W VA). Sold to Denny Grove in 1980. URL: Unique Characteristics: Modifications: Prepaed to FIA Group 4 GT Homologation rules. This included a 32 Gal ATL fuel cell, custom made dash w/ SW instruments, Cibie headlights, Eckler front spoiler, and factory L88 fender flares. Notes/Race History: The car was urchased as a shell. The 350 ci. engine/trans/etc came from Don Haines 1966 Sting Ray (destroyed at Mid-Ohio 6 hr). Car was in process of being built for drag racing with Hemi engine and Plymouth rear. Corvette was restored to factory configuration and then modified to FIA Homolgation specs for IMSA Camel GT rules. Car made first appearance at 1974 Charlotte IMSA race. Also ran Lime Rock IMSA practace but lost a wheel at speed in the "bin bend". Car repaired and repainted back to Blue and ran in 1975 Daytona Paul Revere 250. Car & driver temporarily retired at end of 1975 until 1980. Car ran SCCA races with 430 ci BB engine in ASR class at Summit Point with marginal success.
