Notes/Race History: This is a Pratt-Miller 001 chassis. It started life as a Camaro for the American Equipment (Mfg) Racing Team. It was driven by Ron Fellows at that time. Rocketsport's purchased it and ran it for one year as a Camaro before converting it to a Corvette. It was driven by Paul Gentilozzi (1998), Craig T. Nelson (1999), Steve Pelke (1999), and Johnny Miller (late 1999 through 2002) in the Trans-Am Series. Gentilozzi won the series in 1998 but for 1999 he switched to Jaguar sponsorship, with the new car carrying the # 1 designator for last year’s winner. Craig T. Nelson rented the Corvette and ran it as # 5, continuing under Team Rocketsport, for race preparation. It had a different body paint for each driver. Car purchased from Johnny Miller, by Gerre Payvis, in 2002 in Tennessee. Now used in Vintage racing
