Unique Characteristics:
Modifications: The car was originally yellow and red. It was run that way for several years. Current owner, George Krass, had the car updated with a Rich Sloma widebody and wing and had it to be painted in lime green. The car is now back to the yellow/red scheme Current plans are to restore the car to 1973 configuration in yellow and red with period specific iron block, and narrow body.
Notes/Race History: In 1972, Bill Morrison and Chuck West built an A-Production Trans-Am car, with help from Tony DeLorenzo. The car was built on a body-in-white, obtained by DeLorenzo through his GM connections. Morrison, DeLorenzo and West drove the car from 1973 to 1982, in SCCA A-Production and SCCA Trans-Am Group II. The car was then sold to David Lyle who owned the car from 1982 to 1987. The car then went to Tyler Bangert (1987 to 1994) but was never raced. In 1994 George Krass acquired the car and added a wide body and updated engine. The car is currently for sale by Mike Mulcahy and is being restored back to 1973 status. Asking $115,000 at last check.
